Fuel Surcharge and Pharmacy Drop-Ship Order Minimum
MWI Animal Health remains committed to delivering world-class customer service, products, and solutions to you, our customers. As we continue to monitor current events and their impacts on our industry, we will be implementing changes to our shipping process. These changes have been evaluated carefully with the goal of impacting you as little as possible.
What you need to know
- A fuel surcharge will be added to each order, calculated based on current national average fuel prices. If an order arrives in multiple shipments, a surcharge is applied one time. A message with the current fuel surcharge amount can be found on all invoices and our online ordering platform before check out. The surcharge fee is evaluated weekly to align with current fuel costs. Necessary surcharge updates will occur on Monday evenings (unless it is a holiday, which will delay the update until Tuesday).
- Drop shipments to end-user customers (all products): A minimum order of $150 for pharmacy (Rx and/or OTC) drop-ship items. There will be a charge of $10 for orders placed under $150. The fee only applies to drop-ship orders, meaning those ordered and shipped directly from MWI to an end-user or other address besides your business address. This fee does not apply to deliveries to your primary business address(es).
- If you select to upgrade shipping from ground delivery to air shipping, Saturday, etc., there will be an additional cost.
- These changes will go into effect Monday, May 16, 2022.
Important note
The fuel surcharge amount message and amount will be referenced on all invoices and on our online ordering platform prior to check out. The surcharge fee will be evaluated weekly to remain in sync with current fuel costs.
